Scott Smith is chief executive officer at Bear River Midstream, where he leads the company’s natural gas storage platform to deliver reliable, flexible energy across key U.S. markets. He brings more than 35 years of experience across the midstream, natural gas and power sectors, including as president of Spire Midstream and CEO of Midstream Energy Holdings.

James Hoff is chief engineering officer at Bear River Midstream, responsible for technical strategy and the safe, reliable operation of the company’s natural gas storage assets. He brings decades of expertise in reservoir engineering and underground storage, with prior leadership roles at Spire Inc. and across the midstream sector.

Preston Johnson is chief financial officer at Bear River Midstream, overseeing all financial functions and guiding capital allocation to support disciplined growth. He previously served as a finance director at Spire Inc. and has experience spanning natural gas storage and the IT and telecommunications sectors.

Gary Largesse is chief operating officer at Bear River Midstream, overseeing operations of the company’s strategically located natural gas storage facilities. He brings more than 20 years of experience leading the design, development and execution of midstream energy infrastructure projects, with deep expertise in natural gas storage, pipelines and process facilities that support reliability and future growth.

Gary Venz is chief commercial officer at Bear River Midstream, overseeing commercial strategy and customer engagement to foster long-term customer partnerships and drive sustainable growth. He brings more than 25 years of experience in the natural gas industry across regulated and unregulated sectors. Before joining Bear River Midstream, Gary spent two decades at Williams in commercial operations, commercial development and business development roles.
